* „Inselpark“:
Der 85 ha große Inselpark entstand als Nachnutzung der internationalen Gartenschau 2013 und gilt als beliebtes Naherholungsgebiet und Biotop im Hamburger Stadtteil Wilhelmsburg. Der geführte Spaziergang wird die Besonderheiten des Inselparks im Kontext von Quartiersentwicklung und Nachhaltigkeit aufgreifen. Dem Wetter entsprechende Kleidung ist mitzubringen.
The 85-hectare „Inselpark“ was created as a reuse of the site following the 2013 International Garden Show and is considered a popular local recreation area and biotope in Hamburg’s Wilhelmsburg district. The guided walk will explore the unique features of the „Inselpark“ in the context of neighborhood development and sustainability. Please bring clothing appropriate for the weather.
** „Hamburger Stadtmodell“:
Das Hamburger Stadtmodell zeigt auf einer Fläche von ca. 130m² dreidimensional die Hamburger Innenstadt mit all ihren Bauten, Grün- und Wasserflächen. Anhand des Modells wird die Hamburger Stadt- und Quartiersentwicklung im historischen Kontext erläutert. Aber auch lokale Maßnahmen der Quartiersentwicklung (z.B. Elbinselquartier, Wilhelmsburger Rathausviertel) werden vorgestellt und im Nachgang diskutiert.
The Hamburg city model provides a three-dimensional representation of Hamburg’s downtown area, covering an area of approximately 130 m², complete with all its buildings, green spaces, and bodies of water. The model is used to explain Hamburg’s urban and neighborhood development within its historical context. Local neighborhood development initiatives (e.g., the Elbinselquartier and the Wilhelmsburg Town Hall District) are also presented and discussed afterward.
